Advanced Optical Surgical Center

The physician’s eye care surgery center is conveniently located in the same building as our office. It is a fully-functional Medicare-approved surgery suite that is used only for ocular surgical procedures. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback about our facility and many of our patients find that it looks new, neat and is easy to access. We make your comfort and safety our top priority, so you can have peace of mind going into surgery and during the healing process.

Cataract removal is one of the eye center surgeries we often perform for patients with poor or blurry vision. It’s a condition that can develop as a result of sustained and direct exposure to sunlight, injury or adverse reactions to medications. In this procedure, the cloudy lens of the eye is removed and replaced with an intraocular lens (IOL) made from different materials and vision-enhancing options. Our optical surgical center has IOLs made from silicone, acrylic or plastic materials that allow it to integrate seamlessly. They can come with UV ray blocking technology and help with eye focusing strength.

Our eye care surgery center also offers Lasik procedures to reshape the cornea and correct poor vision. If you have astigmatism, nearsightedness or farsightedness, it is due to having a misshapen cornea. The surgeon at our eye surgery center will perform a relatively short surgery that consists of making an incision to reshape the cornea and replacing the flap of tissue. You’ll be given special instructions for healing and once that time is completed the results are permanent.
